Sugaring and Waxing

Body Sugaring

Sugaring is a method of hair-removal similar to waxing, where the hair is pulled out from the root. Considered by some to be a more gentle and natural method, sugaring uses a paste made from sugar, lemon juice, and water. Our sugarists will warm this honey like mixture to the temperature of your body, apply it against the direction of hair growth and immediately and quickly remove it with the direction of hair growth.

With regular sugaring, hair will regrow slower, sparser and thinner and may lead to permeant results. We recommend rebooking every 3-4 weeks to start or when your hair is at least 1/4” long. This is about the length of a grain of rice. The more consistent you are, the longer you can go between sessions, up to 6 weeks. Avoid shaving in-between appointments like the plague! This will erase any sugaring progress and reduce the benefits sugaring offers.

We sugar all bodies (excluding Manzilians).

Waxing

Waxing is a traditional hair-removal method that utilizes both regular and hard wax to remove hair anywhere from the bikini line, to the inside of your ears.

Removing the hair from the root, wax is applied with the direction of hair growth and pulled off against the direction of hair growth either by hand or with a wax strip.

For those wanting to achieve silky smooth skin without shaving constantly, waxing (or sugaring) is your best bet!

We sugar all bodies (excluding Manzilians).
